Honorary Helicopter Duck Drop Flight Nomination

Nominations Are Open

As part of the Myrtle Duck Festival Presented by Vines, we are creating a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to recognize someone special in our community.

On festival day, we will conduct an honorary helicopter flight over The Market Common before the official Duck Drop begins. This flight is designed to celebrate an individual or family who has inspired others, overcome adversity, served the community, or made a meaningful impact through one of our participating foundations or partner organizations.

Selected guests will experience a special helicopter flight over the festival before the second flight carries the ducks for the ceremonial Myrtle Duck Festival Rubber Duck Race Duck Drop.

Due to aircraft limitations, only two guests will be selected for this opportunity. A special guest may also join the flight.

Nominations will be reviewed by the festival team, and selected recipients will be notified by June 30, 2026. Flight will be the afternoon of the festival weather permitting.
